About:

Woodlands Racing Stable sits in the heart of Lincolnshire. It benefits from a Sand Gallop and an all-weather surface to train the twenty or so horses. The most famous Woodlands resident was Ei Ei, the horse won £173,000 in prize money. Michael Chapman, who is still in charge today, trained him!

The stables are managed by a small team of dedicated and professional staff. Horses love to be ridden through the woods and are kept alert by pheasants and rabbits! Horses trained at Woodlands need never exercise on public roads.

Up until the late 19th century, Woodlands was the main horse racing course in Market Rasen. The grass gallops were very popular as late as 1895.
