Sandra is an experienced horsewoman, having ridden since the age of 4 and is a fully qualified BHSAI (British Horse Society Assistant Instructor). She has also passed Stage 1 of a Horse Whispering course (Monty Roberts School) and hopes one day to take her Stage 2, allowing her the ability to teach these methods and to take on problem horses to assist in their rehabilitation. Sandra also practices Reiki, enabling an holistic approach to horse management and understanding. Sandra has a number of her own horses, including the majority of the breeding mares and youngstock, breeding and producing high quality dressage foals and youngsters. A carefully selected foundation stock has been put together to give the Fosshey Stud a top end offering for the dressage/showing market. Whilst working full time, Sandra still finds the time to compete locally on her own horses and to teach and actively get involved with the clients and their horses on the yard. Cathryn has a great interest in horses, owning three of her own, including a breeding mare, and equally gets involved in the running of the livery yard. Full Livery excluding weekends: Include 2 hard feeds and up to 3/4 hay nets a day. Supply of a stable and mucking out daily, up to 3 bales of bedding per month, turning out and bringing in, subject to weather and field conditions, cleaning and picking out of feet, changing of rugs as appropriate - 7days a week. Grooming (Mon - Fri), cleaning of one set of tack each week. Exercise of the horse by lungeing, horse walker, riding or hacking for up to 30mins per day, 5 days per week. Extras (Worming products and worm counts. Exercise and grooming at weekends. Schooling). Full Livery including weekends: Include 2 hard feeds and up to 3/4 hay nets a day.
