Part livery: Stable and grazing, Hay, bedding and water, Use of facilities, A.M rug change, A.M turnout, Complete muck out, Hay bar filled ready for evening. These services will be carried out by myself, Vicky Abbott. I have completed my BHS Stage 3 in horse knowledge and care and my BHS Stage 3 riding exams. I have owned horses for 11 years ranging from thoroughbreds to cobs and have a lot of experience with young and problem horses. I have helped part time on a few yards carrying out general yard duties, exercising various horses and ponies and earlier this year had two young racehorses in my care before they went off for further training. We have 12 No. 12 x 12 spacious stables and 1 No. 12 x 18 stable all fitted with heavy duty rubber matting, large metal self filling troughs and a large hay bar so your horse benefits from his most natural eating position. There is an alarmed tack room with W.C and sink with a heater to keep your tack in the best condition. A large feed room where each horse gets a large metal feed bin and two rug rooms, both of which have heaters. We have a 60m x 20m arena with a silica sand and combi-ride surface. This surface, with the top of the range Hunter irrigation system that is fitted, makes this ménage ride perfectly all year whether it be schooling or jumping. We also have 6 floodlights around the ménage so there is no need to worry about the dark nights throughout the winter months and a full set of coloured show jumps with BSJA approved cups. We have approximately 19 acres of grazing so plenty for the amount of stables we have. We feel it is very important for the horses to be able to go out ALL year, whatever the weather. Turnout is in small groups or pairs usually but individual can be arranged if necessary and restricted grazing is available if needed.
