Headmore Stud, run by Sarah Oppenheimer with her daughter, Alice Oppenheimer, is a family run equestrian business offering livery, training and stud facilities. We also specialise in breeding, training and selling of quality world-class dressage horses, up to Grand Prix. Our ultimate aim is to produce happy, content competition horses that can maximise their full potential with our experienced, caring and thorough backup and training. Livery: We specialise in a number of services that include training, competition, full, and part livery. A small number of grass liveries are accommadated from April to the end of September. Rehab and resting horses are also catered for. This provides you with choice so that livery can change with life's demands. No one knows your horse as well as you do, and no one is better placed to decide what services suit your needs. We give you total freedom to employ your own vet, farrier and dentist or you can use our own team of outstanding professionals who help us maintain all the horses health, soundness and wellbeing. For the premesis to run well, we have in place health and safety rules so that clients can enjoy their sport with peace of mind. A strict worming programme is in force and must be followed by all owners. New horses arriving at the yard are carefully quarantined and any horse that is unwell is isolated as necessary. We provide meadow hay and haylage. For bedding we use straw, shavings and paper. We provide a washbox and grooming area with hot and cold water. Part livery: Feed, bedding, hay or haylage, mucking out, turning in or out and full use of our extensive facilities. Full/Competition livery: Feed, bedding, hay or haylage, mucking out, turning in or out, grooming and professional exercising six days a week, tack cleaning and full use of our extensive facilities. Training livery: Feed, bedding, hay or haylage, mucking out, turning in or out, grooming and professional exercising six days a week, tack cleaning, five training sessions a week with one of our senior members of staff and full use of our extensive facilities.
