Catherine Fox is a registered trainer, instructor and examiner and has considerable experience of running yards and riding schools, teaching, training and competing.
The services Catherine can offer include riding and stable management training (including towards Pony Club / BHS / NVQ), pony days / camps, preparation for competitions and equine advice.
I have gained a wealth of experience from working in equine establishments of mixed clientele, where I have been involved in teaching, training and examining a wide range of people as well as breaking young horses, stud work and competing in showing, dressage, show jumping, eventing and side saddle, locally and at county shows, including the Royal Show.
I have been riding since a child and was a member of the Atherstone Hunt Branch of the Pony Club. I passed all Pony Club tests up to H standard - this was taken at Heather Hall Riding School whilst I was there as a working pupil training for my BHSAI and BHS HK & R Stage 3. Experience of managing riding establishments including a stud, competition yards, riding schools and my own business.
Extensive experience of training working pupils and students to BHS stages 1, 2 & 3, NVQ Levels 1 to 3 and Pony Club tests to A test. Committee Member of Market Bosworth Agricultural, Horticultural and Equestrian Society and on show days I act as Chief Steward of the pony rings.
Qualified Level 3 BHS NVQ Assessor, City and Guilds A Award and V Award, UK Coaching Certificate Level 2.
