Volente is a small bespoke dressage training yard based in Stockbury, home to Mark Butler Dressage and Team Butler. We specialise in Dressage training for horse and rider by experienced Trainer and Rider Mark Butler.

Mark is an experienced Dressage Trainer and Group 3 rider who has previously evented up to Intermediate, trained up to Grand Prix and competed and won up to Prix St George. Mark Butler Dressage and Team Butler aim to develop as a centre of excellence in dressage training, livery services and breeding that is: Calm, Tranquil, Professional, Friendly, Relaxed.

Our horses are happy athletes who are cared for and treated as individuals; we pride ourselves on knowing your horse inside out and strive to meet their exact needs, however varied or unusual they may be. We are renowned for our high standards that we feel offer the very best services to both horses and owners.

Mark is well known for his patience and calmness, and works with a wide range of riders and horses; from those simply interested in having weekly lessons to those competing at grass roots, along with those competing at affiliated competitions.
