About:

Robert studied with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic and passed the exams necessary to qualify as a member of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.

Commonly chiropractors who have been trained to treat animals will be dealing with horses, dogs and cats but, in theory, any four-legged animal should be treatable.

The following are just a few examples. With horses it could be:

  • travelling
  • riding
  • jumping
  • saddles
  • bridles
  • dentistry
  • harnesses
  • shoeing
  • clipping.

Chiropractic is also very effective in improving and maintaining the mobility of elderly animals. Robert is fully insured to treat humans and animals. It is helpful for the owner of the animal to be able to visualise and understand the problem.

Robert always likes to explain the anatomy and physiology to the owner as this understanding helps to speed recovery and avoid the likelihood of recurrence. Robert is also a member of the McTimoney Animal Group.
