I am a fully trained Equine Behaviour Consultant registered by the Society of equine behaviour consultants. I am also an experienced Psychological Therapist specialising in horse behaviour problems and rider confidence issues.

Following a degree and postgraduate qualification in Psychology, I completed the professional qualification in equine behaviour consultancy which is accredited by the society of equine behaviour consultants. I regularly attend horse behaviour conferences around the country to keep up to date with current research and findings.

My expert training and experience in horse behaviour allows me to distinguish between behaviour problems resulting from pain or fear and those which are confident disobedience. I work closely with vets, ACPAT physiotherapists, farriers and qualified saddle fitters in order to treat your horse accordingly.

My passion for horses began as an 8 year old when I spent every evening and weekend helping out at my local stables in exchange for a ride on my favourite horse. I was lucky enough to have my own horse at the age of 10 and my love for riding, competing and horse welfare grew from there.

I write rider psychology and horse behaviour columns for Horse Scene Magazine, EQ-Life Magazine and Horse Magazine.
