About:

I have successfully completed a course in Equine Sports Massage Therapy and hold a Diploma from the International Therapy Council. The Course was run by Mary Bromiley, a leading physiotherapist for horses, dogs and humans, who was the official physio' for the winning New Zealand 3-day Event Team and is well known and respected in all equine disciplines.

I am a member of the Equine Sports Massage Association, ensuring that the client receives services from a fully qualified and insured therapist. Members of ESMA are experienced horsemen. I have successfully passed my BHS Stage 1 riding, knowledge & care, Stage 2 & 3 knowledge & care. I am based in St.Albans, Hertfordshire and can cover areas of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Equine Sports Massage is the theraputic application of professional sports massage techniques applied to the horse. The rate of recovery is improved by increasing circulation and reducing muscular tension which is the primary cause of muscular injury. Prompt attention to "minor" muscular injuries can prevent the development of more serious problems due to compensation.
