About:

All our staff are well-trained to ensure that if you have never been on a horse before, are perhaps a little rusty, or simply want to expand on your riding skills, we can happily help you to achieve your goals or overcome your fears. We want to leave you with a riding holiday experience you will want to repeat over and over again; and it has been a pleasure to have many of our guests return to enjoy what we have to offer year-in and year-out. There is nothing nicer than a ride on one of our local cove beaches to help you unwind from the stresses of everyday life. There are also many things to do in our corner of Cornwall; many coastal walks, a chocolate factory, historic Mullion Cove harbour, many attractions and even a golf course! The Cattran family had been farming in Mullion for many years when one of their then-young daughters, Jemma, developed a love of ponies and horseriding. In the year 2000 they decided to diversify and rescued their first pony, 'Pip', from a miserable life in a field where children taunted it. Since then Pip has thrived at Newton Equestrian, and is still a working pony at the yard, where Jemma is now yard manager. Customer satisfaction is a high priority to the Cattrans and they have worked hard to build a good reputation. We have excellent facilities for full or DIY livery.
