North Manor is owned and run by Valli Hayes. Her 30 years of experience enable North Manor, a Pony Club Centre, to offer rider development and improved horse management instruction. It is also a training yard, actively supporting enthusiastic people working toward their NVQ Level 2 or Level 3. With a strong stable of horses and ponies North Manor is able to offer riding tuition for most ages and abilities. Based in Bramfield, with direct access to quiet country lanes and the Suffolk countryside beyond, North Manor also offers hacks for small groups. As an approved British Horse Society establishment and licenced by Suffolk Coastal District Council, North Manor hold horse and pony welfare as well as rider safety and satisfaction paramount. So, you can be assured that your time at North Manor will be safe and enjoyable for you and your mount. Quite often we’re asked about getting a horse or pony; what it involves, where to keep it, how to get help, what the daily routine is, what happens when you go way, etc. We also get asked by parents whether we can provide help for them, so that they can support their child with a new pony or help them improve their riding and care of a pony. With this in mind, as well as normal livery we are able to offer ‘Livery & Learn’ - a bespoke package that can provide; a tailored livery facility, help selecting a suitable pony or horse, ‘first pony’ support, guidance with horse care, supervised practice, bespoke practice drills, schooling support. Where required this can be extended to parents, helping them; support the rider, understand the horse, identify good stable management, maintain horse health, spot behavioural & danger signals, with equipment selection, with transport selection, support horse and rider progress with coaching skills. Livery & Learn is not an off the shelf package, it is developed in consultation with the rider and their ‘team’.
