About:

Field Farm Livery Stables is an established family, owned and run, business which has been providing top-class Livery services for many years. We have full responsibility for the day- to- day management of the Yard and Simon and Sara remain the main points of contact for all customers. Sara has enjoyed a passion for horses from an early age. She was a keen participator in hunting, point to point racing and show jumping. Sara’s enjoyment of riding was not curtailed when she moved to London in 1995, she was an active member of the Honourable Artillery Company Saddle Club based at Flemish Farm in Windsor Great Park. Sara also completed a riding course with the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery. Sara worked in London for 15 years in Finance and Human Resources before returning to Lincolnshire in 2010 and runs the Farm Office. Lisa Smeeth - Livery Service Provider: "I have ridden since I was 10 years old and have a big love of everything horsey! I had a break from riding, whilst raising a family, but I came back to it in 2004 when I did my ABRS in stable management and riding qualifications. I have been a Livery at Field Farm since 2008 and I currently have two of my own horses. I enjoy schooling, hacking/pleasure rides, dressage and natural horsemanship. In addition, I take care of all of the livery services and provide support to owners and their horses or ponies. All horses/ponies are cared for with the same attention to detail that I provide my own. I can tailor my services in accordance with owners' instructions and individual requirements. During my time at Field Farm I have watched the yard develop from a DIY livery yard to a superb equestrian facility. We have a very friendly yard with lots of help and support, when needed. Everyone at the yard has something special to offer, whatever your level!". Field Farm Livery has over 30 stables ranging from Pony stables to Foaling boxes. Each stable is maintained to a high standard and is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each arrival. If you have the luxury of owning more than one pony then we have the option of separate enclosed/gated yards with an outbuilding. On site we also have an enclosed horse walker which is included in the price of your livery and two all weather floodlit arenas, both surfaced with sand and rubber. Each horse is given one acre and a pony is given half an acre paddock of good grassland, which has wooden fence posts already in to make it easier for you to add your own electric fencing. There is a water supply down by the paddocks for ease of providing your fresh water daily. It is recommended that you try to spilt your acre into two or three paddocks to help rotation of grazing for your horse. There is off road hacking to the rear of the yard which leads you out onto the Fens, as well as road hacking to the front of the yard.
