Harold's Park Riding Centre and Stables are located in Essex. Stables: The 75 stables are all under one roof with plenty of space for tying-up. Every stable includes its own storage area which can be padlocked. You have access to your horse 24 hours a day. Horse Walker & Solarium/Heat Lamps: We have a horse walker located at the rear of the stables. It is often recommended by vets for remedial reasons and sometimes simply used to give the horses 20 minutes exercise while their stable is being mucked out. We have installed a coin-operated solarium/heat lamp facility which can be used for remedial reasons and to quickly dry off your horse. Cross Country Course: The cross country course is a novice course with 16 two foot six inch jumps. It follows hedge rows and woodlands through undulating countryside. The course is wide enough to follow without using the jumps. While the farm is ideally placed for hacking-out, there are bridle paths and farm rides which allow you to exercise your horse without ever going on roads. The first bridle path heads towards Long Green, the second towards Galleyhill Green and the third towards Epping Green.
The Long Green route will take you along the right of Deer Park Woods and along or through Galley Hill Woods. Before meeting any lanes, you can connect up with the end of the Galleyhill route and so head back to the farm on a 3 or 4 mile circuit. DIY Livery: Stable and grazing, Haylage.
