Ambrook Farm Livery Yard is a family run BHS Approved livery yard business situated in South Devon. Situated in nearly thirty acres of rolling countryside the livery yard has a personal, individual feel based around eight to ten horses a time on either part or full livery. Our Livery Yard is located in South Devon within easy reach of the villages of Ipplepen, Torbryan and Broadhempston. The livery yard is run by Kate Bodger BHSAI Intermediate Stable Manager, who also provides both riding and stable management tuition, and her mother Rosemary Bodger; who both personally look after all the horses in their care. Ambrook Farm Livery Yard offer a range of different livery options to suit many different people and personal situations. Our basic packages include both full livery and part livery options. It is also possible to mix these, allowing you to put your horse on full livery during the week, while allowing you to be more involved at weekends. In addition to these permanent livery packages we also offer flexible and individual holiday livery packages that can extend from a few days to a few weeks. These packages can include schooling and leave you with peace of mind that you horse or horses are being well looked after and maintained while you get a well earned rest. Full Livery: Stable, Grazing, Turnout / Bring In, Muck Out, Grooming, Basic Hard Feed, Hay, Bedding, Use of Indoor School & Grass Paddocks. Part Livery: Stable, Grazing, Turnout, Use of Indoor Schol & Grass Paddocks. Facilities: The Livery Yard is set in nearly thirty acres of rolling countryside and offers fantastic scope for riding and schooling in the many fields that comprise the establishment. The Yard is also surrounded by some of the most accessible hacking routes in the area with a number of quiet country lanes available to explore. The Yard also has an all-weather indoor school that allows for schooling and training all year. Complete with grass dressage arena and showjumps both the indoor arena and outdoor paddocks allow skills to be gained and horses to be trained. In addition to this we also have an equine solarium that is available for liveries to utilise. The solarium uses the power of heat for cooldown and to relieve stiffness after schooling or competition.
