About:

I studied Equine Science and Management at Myerscough College and then took the opportunity to study and train in the UK as an equine dental technician.

My whole life has revolved around my passion for horses. I have worked with competition horses for several years and have assisted at major competitions including Hickstead and Horse Of The Year Show.

Your horses welfare is my main priority. I prefer to work on unsedated horses wherever possible, which I feel is better for the horse and your pocket. Fully trained and fully insured with the NFU. I cover all areas in the North West of England, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Cumbria. Equine dentistry has evolved considerably and is now considered a necessity to equine health. Remember, No Mouth, No Horse. A comfortable mouth is of paramount importance in achieving contented horses that are happy in their work, whether that is for competition, hacking, broodmare or just out at grass. Removing sharp points on the buccal (next to the cheek) side of the upper arcades and lingual (next to the tongue) side of the lower arcades will give your horse a more comfortable mouth.

Hooks, ramps, waves and step mouths must be removed with extra care to ensure your horse’s teeth are working properly and not causing any discomfort or restriction in the movement of the mouth.
