About:

Emma has been working professionally in the equine industry for over 15 years, being a qualified BHSAI and experienced trainer working with young thoroughbreds destined for a career in racing. She is a highly practical person being experienced in all aspects of equine care which gives her a strong understanding of equine needs.

As a horse owner herself, she appreciates the needs and requirements of the owner, and aims to provide a service tailored to the individual. After studying for and receiving a first class Honours degree (Bsc) in Equine Sports Science and Equine Psychology at Nottingham Trent University, Emma went on to study for and receive the Masters degree (Msc) in Animal Manipulation with the McTimoney College in Oxford.

Emma is also a qualified Equinology Equine Body Worker, which allows her to combine various methods of therapy to give your horse the best care and treatment. Emma is further expanding her academic knowledge by studying for a post graduate diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy with the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists and Harper Adams College University, of which she will graduate from in 2013.

You can rest assured that your horse will be sympathetically and professionally managed during the treatment session due to Emma’s training with Kelly Marks and the Intelligent Horsemanship Association. Here she was instructed in the handling and training methods of Monty Roberts for which she received the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate in Horsemanship.
