About:

Tracy Allin-Baker provides freelance riding instruction & coaching services, and can provide talks on a variety of equine-based subjects, covering most of Norfolk and Suffolk.

Tracy is a fully qualified and insured BHSAI and UKCCL2 coach, has a PGCE and MSc Equine Science. Tracy has many years practical experience gained from working on a variety of competition and training yards; as well as being an equine lecturer at an agricultural college.

She has kept, ridden and competed horses of her own since she was 12 years old; and so knows only too well the high's and low's of owning, riding and training horses! She aims to provide a practical, and sympathetic approach to all of her clients and their horses.

I offer specialist equine behaviour problem-solving services by either direct owner referral, or via veterinary referral for any behaviour problem. Problem behaviours are anything that causes the horse / owner / rider / handler a ‘problem’. This could include any of (but are not limited to) the following:

  • barging
  • not tying up
  • grooming issues
  • biting
  • kicking
  • not being caught
  • aggressive behaviour towards humans / people / other animals
  • stereotypical behaviour (also known as ‘vices')
  • loading and travel problems
  • clipping
  • separation anxiety.
